Whether you are new to CrossFit or you are a veteran, Triat welcomes you! Any level of experience is welcome.
We began our jouney as a garage gym. All of our athletes were beginners at one time so don't worry about your level of experience, every single workout we do can be done by both elite athletes and by their grandparents. Ready to give it a try? Stop by, we’d love to meet you!
WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.
Functional Movement: The movements we do in CrossFit are based on functional movements which involve aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. Functional movements are used in our every day life from getting out of a chair to carrying groceries to jumping fences and beyond. They are essential to our well being and longevity and must be performed correctly in each of their respective arenas to keep us healthy and injury resistant.
Intensity: Intensity is essential to produce results and is measured as work divided by time (or power).
Constantly Varied: Varying the exercise selection and time domains in which we work helps us train different energy systems producing effective results quickly for our members. This also ensures your fitness journey poses a new and different challenge each day.
Bonus = Community: The community that evolves in a CrossFit gym is unmatched in another other fitness arena. The work we do is hard, and working hard along side another human being and then celebrating each others achievements is what keeps the CrossFit community strong and growing (just like your muscles, wink wink).
What We Do
Simply stated we move our bodies and weight as efficiently and quickly as possible. Take a look at the WOD page and you’ll see that the workouts are different each day. In a given workout you will incorporate body weight & gymnastic movements and utilize equipment such as kettlebells, dumbells, slam balls, pull-up bars, boxes and barbells (when ready). The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
Where To Start
No Experience or level of fitness is necessary to get started. Contact us to schedule a visit!
Those new to CrossFit will utilize all equipment (i.e., kettlebells, slam balls, wall balls, pull-up bars, gymnast rings) typically associated with CrossFit, excluding barbells. When the athlete and coach feels it is time, beginners will begin to incorporate barbells into their workouts.
